Hawklee Country House is set on 17 acres of unspoiled Midland's beauty, on the banks of the Lions River. All accommodation is en-suite and five of our cottages feature private spa baths and have breath-taking views.

Delightful Setting and Service We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful environment with friendly hosts. We hope to return soon and would recommend it to our friends and family. At first we thought it may be a bit far off the "beaten track" but we thoroughly enjoyed the slow drive in the mist. We saw lots of game and bird life on the road.

A slice of heaven Beautiful place secreted amongst the trees on the river run by Dean and Belinda, a special couple who make your stay personal and comfortable. Everything is clean and the service impeccable. Breakfast is delicious and hot with a superb view of the river snd trees. A tranquil surroundings, most conducive to rest and rejuvenation

Hawklee Country Lodge Great setting off the beaten path with Splendid Nature around including Eagles Buck and more. Remember Evenings are cold and days hot so bring a jacket. Local town Nottingham is conveniently only 13 kms away. Prepare to unwind totally. Great Host and super breakfast. Will return soon!

Hawklee CH Review My colleague and I spent an overnight at Hawklee as a stopover during a business trip and found it to be a stunning venue. The setting and Dean's attentiveness and guest-focused approach made for a wonderful break from the bustle of the day.

Excellent Accomodation We just keep going back everytime. Everything is Perfect. The food is marvelous, the friendly staff and hosts, beautiful nature and the soothing sound of the river. Great Country Weekend getaway Wonderful Accomodation. Warm and comfortable Accomodation. Welcome upon arrival room was clean sanitised and ready for occupation. Most beautiful view from chalet. A short walk down the garden and along the river greats you with a forest vibe. Picturesque.

Best honeymoon stop over The honeymoon suite was just perfect, we really enjoyed our nights stay. The spa bath was excellent. Beautiful nature too with the Loins river flowing in the back ground. The breakfast was great and the host were super helpful.

Exceeded Expectations Thank you Belinda for looking after us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Kingfisher room - spacious, tastefully decorated, lovely big spa bath and view of the river and garden. Breakfast was simply delish!
